In my work I juxtapose photography, collage, and installation to explore immanence, originality, and authenticity. I examine how meaning emerges between signifier and signified, and between art and everyday banality. By engaging image, matter, and space, I question photography’s shifting status while exposing mechanisms of production and control within both the medium and the broader cultural field. I am drawn to the moment where image meets matter—where organization becomes meaning. My practice revolves around tensions: between two- and three-dimensionality, the static and the organic, revelation and concealment, documentation and staging, intervention and neutrality, taste and preconception—between the image captured and the photograph as a physical presence in space.
