About the Artist Back to Gallery

My work as a painter explores the intricate boundaries of human interaction and the
subtle dynamics between bodies. Growing up on a kibbutz left a lasting impression
on how I perceive the relationship between the individual and the collective. In my
paintings, figures rarely appear in isolation; they form constellations where gestures
and subtle contact create a fragile balance between intimacy and tension.
By working with wax and pigment, I build tactile surfaces that heighten the physical
and emotional presence of the figures. This material process reinforces the delicate
interplay of closeness, friction, and connection that defines the human encounter.
