Hamagar (The Reservoir) — located north of the kibbutz where I live, bordering southern Lebanon, a Hezbollah stronghold. This painting is part of a series called Pink Moon, which I'm painting between the war that was and the one yet to come. 'Pink Moon' refers to a springtime bloom, but it also echoes the biblical blood moon that heralds the end of days. This series is a diary of existence on the apocalyptic threshold on the northern border.
