In this series of works, I dwell in the abyss, searching for living waters.
I feel it is no longer possible to soften the world for the eyes of the beholder, nor for my own.
I turned to the most sacred place of the human - its abyss.
And from there I carved light out of the layers of charcoal,
drawing the primal from hidden memory.
"I form the light, and create darkness"
(Isaiah 45:7)
Darkness was created, yet light is formed out of it.
