About the Artist Back to Gallery

I use photography, collage and installation to explore authenticity, meaning and perception. My work examines the relationship between image, matter and space, and the shifting status of photography within art and culture. I focus on the moment when image meets material—when photography intersects with design and organization becomes meaning. The works highlight tensions between two- and three-dimensionality, static and organic, revelation and concealment, and between documentation and staging. Through this, I question how images function in space and how the presence of a photograph shapes perception, experience and our understanding of reality.
